Expand Your Network & Build Your Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate Through UCREW

UCREW is the CREW DC chapter's initiative that supports career development for undergraduate and graduate women pursuing degrees in real estate or a related field. Our goal is to connect students with CREW resources and opportunities, such as mentoring, scholarships and jobs that will help them start or grow their careers. The Foundation Subcommittee within UCREW is responsible for promoting the CREW Network Foundation within the chapter, including our annual chapter challenge.

What’s an externship?
It’s an introductory program that allows female college students to visit a firm for one to five days and shadow different professionals in a real-world environment in order to expose them to commercial real estate careers. Learn more here.

I’m not a student. Does UCREW have anything to do with me?
Yes! UCREW events and externships are built on CREW DC relationships. We are always looking for new firms to host externs and need members to reach out and welcome students who attend one of our numerous chapter events. In addition, the Foundation subcommittee needs your financial support through donations of any size to the CREW Network Foundation at the beginning of every calendar year in order to achieve the Chapter Challenge and increase opportunities for young women through scholarships. The Foundation’s Scholarship Endowment supports future female leaders as they pursue university-level education that will lead to careers in commercial real estate.
