The Washington DC chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW DC) invites you to join many of the region's most prominent companies by becoming a sponsor of our organization. CREW DC exists to advance the success of women in commercial real estate through its highly-acclaimed programs, roundtables, professional development opportunities and committee participation. Our chapter is a member of CREW Network, the umbrella organization for 73 chapters and over 8,000 members throughout the United States and Canada, providing our members and sponsors with instant contacts and sources of information in virtually any market in North America.

The commercial real estate industry was hit hard over the last two years. It is certain your business saw its fair share of challenges during this period and may be exploring new avenues in which to grow. However, it is an important time to support CREW DC.

Among our many accomplishments during the last year are the following:

• Community Action – Our Community Action Committee has partnered with 8 local organizations that benefit not only from our financial support, but receive additional support through non-tangible giving (i.e. legal, brokerage and design services.) CREW DC donated over $64,000 and over 500 hours of time.

• Programs – Our impressive programs covered the most relevant topics in our industry and were led by influential professionals. Some of 2010’s finest included: Marci Rossell, former CNBC Chief Economist; Linda Rabbitt, rand* Construction; Wendelin White, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman; Jim Abdo, Abdo Development; and, Kate Carr, President of Cardinal Bank.

• CREW CEO – 2010 marked the third year of CREW CEO (Career Education Opportunities).

• CREW Awards – This year’s awards gala celebrated the accomplishments of four amazing women: Helen Haerle of Quadrangle, Development Corporation, Michelle Kilby of MK Associates, Candace Chazen of Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company, and Bonnie Flippin of WorkSpaces.
