It is with great sadness that we remember our friend, colleague and fellow CREW member, Shelley Radomski, Executive Managing Director, Brokerage & Capital Markets, Americas for Cushman & Wakefield.

Known for never turning down a challenge, Shelley was an integral leader during times of significant growth and transformation at the firm, including the mergers between Cassidy Turley and DTZ, and DTZ and Cushman & Wakefield.

Over the course of her career, Shelley played an active role in mentoring and promoting women, not only within the firm but across the commercial real estate industry as a whole. She was named to the Washington Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business list in 2016 and recognized as one of Real Estate Forum’s Women of Influence in 2011. Shelley was an essential advocate in Cushman & Wakefield’s decisions to hire women in key positions and for their career-growth opportunities, including championing the relaunch of Cushman & Wakefield’s Women’s Integrated Network (WIN), which offers professional development, mentoring, and networking for women. A member of CREW DC since 1996, Shelley served on the CREW Network Industry Research Committee in 2010.

Well-known and highly respected in the industry, Shelley was a valued member of her local community, where she was a longtime supporter of the annual Race for Hope DC and the annual Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Washington Thanksgiving Event.

CREW DC extends its most heartfelt condolences to Shelley’s husband, Dave, and three sons, Connor, Chase, and Michael as well as to her colleagues at Cushman & Wakefield. We will miss not only her tremendous contributions to our industry, but also her friendship, poise, attitude, and infectious laugh.

A memorial fund is being established for Shelley and we will post that information when it is available.
